My Faith

I was raised in a Methodist church, where we participated in choir, Sunday School, and Vacation Bible School. But I didn't understand why we did these things until I was an adult.

At age 22, I was introduced to Jesus. I learned that He DIED for me! He died so that I could spend forever with God in Heaven when I die. I asked Him to be Lord and Savior in my life right then. But I still didn't really understand it.
Then life happened. Lots of life. I made choices for my life and so did others. I made more mistakes and wrong choices than any sensible person ever should. But God remained the same. He still loves me. When I finally admitted to Him how wrong I had been, and asked Him to forgive me, He did. Today, I still make mistakes, but my decision-making skills have improved. I confess I'm still a major work in progress, but I'm learning and growing, and God continues to pour out His amazing love and blessings into my life.

God loves you, too. Just as you are - mistakes, wrong choices, whatever your past, present or future.
He loves you. Will you let Him be your Lord and Savior too? All you have to do is ask.
Pray this prayer:
"Lord, please forgive me for
all the things I've done wrong in my life. I want you as my Lord and
Savior. Will you come into my heart and let me live with you forever?
Thank you for letting your son Jesus die on that cross just for me.
Thank you for forgiving me. In Jesus' name I pray, Amen."

Simple enough, right? Now, go out and tell your friends. Find a church if you can - or ask God to send a church to you. You can follow in Jesus' footsteps by getting baptized, then you can tell the whole world that Jesus died for you too!

You can even drop me an email and let me know you prayed the prayer, and I'll pray with you!

May God bless you, my new friend. I'll see you in Heaven one fine day!
